I was born on May 14th. That makes me a Taurus.
I hail from the South and even weathered a brief stint as a Midwesterner shoveling snow and studying Opera performance and English Literature at Indiana University. After graduating in three years, I moved to New York and have called Brooklyn home ever since. My publishing experience began with an internship at
The Paris Review, followed up with two plus years as an editorial assistant at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. My writing has appeared in
Time Out New York,
Bookslut,
More Intelligent Life,
The Second Pass,
Identity Theory,
Planet Magazine,
This Recording, and
The 99%. I work as a writer, publicist, fact-checker, proposal-writer, proofreader and more, and keep a culture blog called
Dilettantsia. Please
contact me if you have a project in mind.
In the meantime, I've just started writing my first book.
